La evidencia m\u00e1s antigua de la existencia del ma\u00edz, de unos 7000 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad, ha sido encontrada por arque\u00f3logos en el valle de Tehuacan (M\u00e9xico) pero es posible que hubiese centros secundarios de origen en Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">En aquel tiempo los ind\u00edgenas locales recolectaban con fines alimenticios unas peque\u00f1as mazorcas de <strong>ma\u00edz<\/strong> con s\u00f3lo cuatro filas de granos cada una. Unos mil a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s el <strong>ma\u00edz<\/strong> primitivo se convirti\u00f3 en <strong>ma\u00edz<\/strong> domesticado. La cosecha de este grano hizo posible el florecimiento de las grandes culturas precolombinas.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Tras el descubrimiento del continente por los espa\u00f1oles, la planta se introdujo en la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica en el siglo XVI y, posteriormente, se extendi\u00f3 al resto de Europa y el cercano oriente. Poco pod\u00edan sospechar los conquistadores hispanos que el verdadero \u201cEl dorado\u201d, que tan afanosamente buscaban en los m\u00e1s rec\u00f3nditos y perdidos lugares del Nuevo Mundo, se hallaba en realidad en los granos del <strong>ma\u00edz<\/strong>, aut\u00e9ntica riqueza que con el transcurrir de las d\u00e9cadas revolucionar\u00eda la agricultura y la econom\u00eda de extensas regiones del globo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Actualmente el <strong>ma\u00edz<\/strong> es uno de los productos agr\u00edcolas m\u00e1s importantes y sus productos y derivados est\u00e1n relacionados directamente con la producci\u00f3n de una gran cantidad de productos como: alimento para ganado, papel, refrescos, caramelos, tintas, pegamentos, pl\u00e1stico biodegradable, productos de panificaci\u00f3n, productos l\u00e1cteos, salsas, sopas, pinturas, helados, alcohol, aceite comestible, cosm\u00e9ticos, sabores, y una lista casi interminable de productos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[divider scroll_text=\u00bb\u00bb] [frame src=\u00bbhttp:\/\/www.dacsa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/dios-maiz.jpeg\u00bb width=\u00bb\u00bb height=\u00bb\u00bb lightbox=\u00bbon\u00bb title=\u00bbDIOS MA\u00cdZ DACSA\u00bb align=\u00bbleft\u00bb ] El cultivo del&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":123,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[267],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-116","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sin-categorizar"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
