El pasado 20 de mayo se celebr\u00f3 en Gdansk, Polonia, la Asamblea general de Euromaisers, con la asistencia y participaci\u00f3n de Dacsa Group.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Euromaisiers<\/strong><\/a> es la asociaci\u00f3n que representa al sector europeo de la molienda de ma\u00edz. Creada en los a\u00f1os 80 para dar voz a las empresas dedicadas a la molienda de ma\u00edz de Europa y Dacs Group entr\u00f3 a formar parte en 1986.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El sector de la molienda de ma\u00edz produce alimentos primarios naturales y saludables a base de ma\u00edz que se utilizan para la fabricaci\u00f3n de una gran variedad de alimentos y bebidas. Posee adem\u00e1s unas necesidades espec\u00edficas diferentes a las de otros cereales, por eso era necesaria la creaci\u00f3n de una asociaci\u00f3n que defendiera estos intereses en la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actualmente, Euromaisiers est\u00e1 formada por 23 empresas y 2 asociaciones nacionales provenientes de 10 pa\u00edses europeos. En conjunto, sus miembros representan m\u00e1s del 90% de la producci\u00f3n europea de ma\u00edz.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anualmente, sus miembros se re\u00fanen en asamblea para debatir juntos aspectos que afectan al sector en torno a aspectos como la sostenibilidad, la salud o la innovaci\u00f3n. En concreto, en esta edici\u00f3n las charlas y debates se centraron en la situaci\u00f3n del mercado y los problemas que afectan actualmente a la industria de molienda de ma\u00edz. Adem\u00e1s se cont\u00f3 con la presencia de M. Nicola Di Virgilio como ponente invitado, experto en la Unidad de Sostenibilidad Ambiental en la Comisi\u00f3n Europea. En su ponencia, habl\u00f3 con los asistentes sobre el reto que supone vincular la agricultura con los objetivos clim\u00e1ticos y de biodiversidad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Otro tema en torno al cual se habl\u00f3 en la asamblea fue la situaci\u00f3n del mercado en cada pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como las tendencias o los retos de futuro para el sector de la molienda de ma\u00edz.<\/span><\/p>\n
